As we wind down the school year, it is still essential that students practice safe bus riding skills. Please revisit safe bus riding expectations with students.

Here are some Safe Bus bus-riding guidelines for all students:

  1. Stay Seated: Students should always remain seated while the bus is moving. Feet should be towards the front of the bus, not in the aisle or on the seat.
  2. Use Quiet Voices: To help the driver concentrate, students should keep conversations at a reasonable volume and avoid loud or distracting noises.
  3. Follow the Driver's Instructions: The bus driver is in charge of the bus and must be followed at all times to ensure safety.
  4. No Food or Drink: Students should refrain from eating or drinking on the bus for safety reasons.
  5. Respect Personal Space: Students should keep their hands, feet, and belongings to themselves and respect others' personal space.
  6. Be Kind and show PRIDE: Students are expected to treat their peers and the bus driver with kindness and respect at all times.
