Sr. High Drama presents Xanadu Jr: June 12-14
Our Senior Drama students are having so much fun during rehearsals to create the hilarious characters from the Broadway Jr play of Xanadu!
Xanadu JR. follows the journey of a magical and beautiful Greek muse, Kira, who descends from the heavens of Mt. Olympus to Venice Beach, California, on a quest to inspire a struggling artist, Sonny, to achieve the greatest artistic creation of all time – the first Roller Disco. (Hey, it's 1980!) But, when Kira falls into forbidden love with the mortal Sonny, her jealous sisters take advantage of the situation, and chaos abounds.
This play is a must with iconic songs from the 80’s set with great ensemble energy and big moments for the featured singers! It is so much fun!! A play very family friendly, full of laughter and twists!
Tickets are available at the Bashaw School as well as the Bashaw Resource Centre and online at www.bashawtheatre.com
Please come on out and support our amazing students!!
