Better Together

Families,

It's beginning to look like fall, and the kids are enjoying the cooler weather outside (as long as it's not raining). First grade enjoyed apples this week and Mumkins will be delivered on Tuesday! Pickup of Mums will be Tuesday after school until 5:30 pm. There is a sign up link for those that are able to volunteer with counting, sorting, and/or handing out the mums to families.

Our 4th Grade Peer Mediators began their shifts this week, and we are so grateful for their leadership. They are such great Role Models for our younger students.

Next week, will be MVHS Homecoming Week, so we will be celebrating with Spirit Week. This includes Wiggin Street Spirit Wear on Monday for our all school picture. If you ordered Spirit Wear, please read the information below in this update about delivery. We will end the week with an MVHS Pep Rally on our playground including band members, cheerleaders, and forum court.

Also, Friday evening, our 3rd grade will be performing at the Johnny Appleseed Festival. They have worked so hard to be prepared, and we appreciate Mrs. Springer and the 3rd grade teachers for helping them.

Spirit Wear Sale Delivery and All School Picture on Monday

If you ordered a t-shirt or other spirit wear, you should be receiving a message from SharxDesign this afternoon. I'm including the message below in case you do not receive it for some reason.

Dear Wiggin Street Families,

I wanted to provide an update regarding the Spirit Wear orders. Unfortunately, we've experienced a slight delay in shipping from UPS, likely due to the extreme weather affecting the southern region over the past few days. The good news is that the materials are on the local delivery truck and scheduled to arrive later today. However, we will not be able to deliver the shirts before the end of the school day today.

We know many of you are eagerly awaiting your orders for Monday's group photo day, so to accommodate, we will be setting up a pick-up station at the side door of the school tomorrow, Saturday, from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm. If you are unable to make it during that time, please feel free to forward me your address, and Lori and I will be happy to deliver your order to your home.

For those not waiting on shirts for Monday's photos, the remaining orders will be delivered directly to your child at school on Monday.

We appreciate your understanding and flexibility. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out!

Art to Remember

"I'm excited to be partnering with Art to Remember this year. Students are beginning to work on projects in Art class that I will be sending to Art to Remember soon. Closer to the end of October parent order forms and information will be coming home and orders can be placed in early November for items that you may want to purchase for your family or family members and friends. The items will arrive before Christmas break to ensure that you will have them to give as gifts if you would like. There is no obligation or pressure to participate but instead, I hope that you find that this is a wonderful opportunity to capture your child's artwork to cherish for years to come!
