Berkeley County Schools is proud to announce the appointment of Ms. Maranda Lynch as the new principal of Martinsburg High School, following the Regular Board of Education Meeting held on June 16, 2025.
Ms. Lynch is a dedicated and experienced educator with more than 20 years of service in Berkeley County Schools. She began her career teaching 7th and 8th grade English Language Arts at Spring Mills Middle School, where she spent 11 years building a foundation of instructional excellence. She then joined the Martinsburg High School community as Assistant Principal, serving in that role for four years. In July 2020, she transitioned to district leadership as the Secondary School Coordinator and Assistant Director of Instructional Technology, where she supported schools in implementing innovative instructional strategies and digital learning tools.
