The Bobcat Buzz
Week of August 26, 2025
This week in Bobcat Country!
It's a busy week for our Bobcats! Free Dress Day is Thursday, our PTA meeting and auction theme reveal are Friday, and several exciting opportunities to get involved are just around the corner.
Here's what you need to know!
LAST CALL: Free Dress Wristband Pack! 💙💛
Our next Free Dress Day is THIS Thursday, October 15, and this is your last chance to purchase the wristband pack while it still makes financial sense!
At this point, the pack costs the same as paying $5 each month, but the convenience is hard to beat!
Pay once, cover the remaining Free Dress Days, and skip the last-minute scramble to find $5 cash on school mornings.
After October, purchasing individual Free Dress Days will be the more economical option.
Don't miss your chance to check Free Dress Day off your list for the rest of the school year!
The BIG Reveal is Almost Here!
PTA General Meeting & Auction Theme Reveal
Friday, October 16 | 11:30 AM | SFMS Library
Join us this Friday for our next PTA General Meeting, where we'll share important updates and reveal the theme for this year's auction! Whether you're a longtime PTA volunteer or looking for a way to get more involved, we'd love to see you.
Planning to attend? Please RSVP in advance so the front office can prepare your visitor badge. Remember to bring your photo ID.
Every Culture Has a Story. What's Yours?
This year's Reflections theme, "What My Culture Means to Me," invites students to share their experiences, traditions, identities, and creativity through the arts.
Whether your student loves to draw, write, dance, create music, or make films, there's a place for their voice.
Three easy ways to submit:
Upload to the 2026 SFMS Reflections Google Drive folder
Drop off at the SFMS Front Office
Deadline: Friday, October 23
A little time. A BIG difference.
Campus Beautification Day
Saturday, October 24 | 9 AM–12 PM
Let's show our campus some Bobcat love!
Bring the family, roll up your sleeves, and join us for a morning of giving back to the school our students call home.
Whether you can help for the entire morning or just part of it, we'd love to have you join us.
Honoring Those Who Served!
25th Annual SFMS Veteran's Day Celebration!
Wednesday, November 11
Save the date for one of SFMS’s most meaningful traditions as we come together to recognize and honor the veterans who have served our country.
Do you have a veteran you would like us to honor? We would love to invite veterans from our Bobcat families and community to join us for this special celebration.
More information about our Veterans Day celebration and opportunities to participate can be found below!
Veteran's Day Arts Contest
Students are invited to participate in this year’s Veterans Day Arts Contest!
