Student dismissal begins promptly at 3:15PM.

If you would like to pick up your son/daughter early for an appointment, please pick up your child before 2:45PM. After 2:45PM, your child will be asked to wait with the other walkers, bus and car riders in his/her classroom, to ensure a safe and efficient dismissal for everyone.

To volunteer at a class party or chaperone a field trip, your clearances must be up-to-date.

If your clearances are current, upload them into the App Garden - Volunteer Tracker. If your clearances have expired, or you need to begin the clearance process, click on the Required Documents for the directions. A HUGE thank you to everyone who donated socks to our “Socktober” collection. Big drumroll please….through your generosity, we were able to collect 554 pairs of socks! These socks will help to keep our neighbors in both Bucks and Mercer counties warm in the coming winter months.

To honor the men and women who have served, we are creating a Wall of Heroes! Please feel free to choose one template, add a photo or draw a picture, and then, send it in with your child to the Gayman Main Office. Your family member/friend will be honored on our Wall of Heroes!

These posters will be hanging in the main hallway of Gayman for the month of November.

To mark this special day, we are hosting "Veteran Class Speakers". Any veteran, or someone currently serving in the military, is invited to speak to a class. The time of the presentation will be determined by the teacher and speaker.

A 20-minute presentation would include:

• A description of your military job/responsibilities
• A favorite memory from your service
• Questions from the students

Our hope is for every class to have a speaker, please let us know if you are able to do more than one presentation. NOTE: While we will make every effort to match you with your child's (grandchild's) class, you may be speaking to a different class.

To all of our veterans - thank you for your service!

We invite our community to share the names of their military friends and family. For every name shared, a flag will be placed on the Gayman lawn to honor that individual. Thank you!

Families can access the online application for Free & Reduced Meals by clicking here. The application must be submitted each year AND for each child. If your child received free or reduced lunch last year, you must re-apply for the 23-24 school year.

The Reading Olympics program provides our 5th and 6th grade students an opportunity to explore new books, create a reading community as they form teams, and ultimately participate in a quiz-style competition in the spring. All 5th and 6th grade students were introduced to this year’s Reading Olympics books and provided general information about Reading Olympics at Gayman during library. Teams are now forming. Students who have expressed interest in joining a Reading Olympics team are bringing information home to share with their families.

Your child's custom catalog for the Square 1 Art fundraiser will be coming home to you soon . Get a head start, and start ordering keepsakes and gifts featuring your child's art online NOW, if you'd like!

Simply search for your child's art using Art Search, and enter state, school name, and your student's name. Your student's art and code will appear (under the artwork), and you may order!

Join us for our next Kindness Counts Club event! Monday, November 13th after school, which happens to be World Kindness Day!
