Message From Administration: Message From Administration:

8/23/26

Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year! We are so thrilled to welcome our students back into new classrooms and can't wait to get started tomorrow! As in years past, all families of a kindergarten student are welcome to walk their student to the K Pod for the first week of school. We are also asking that kindergarten families walk to the A-Pod to pick up their child in the afternoon for the first three days during our staggard enrollment period. Please use the parking spaces in our main parking lot for both drop off and pick up. K parents are also welcome to use the drop off lane if preferred. We will have staff on hand to help with transitions and extra staff members assigned to that location for the first few weeks of school. We ask that parents of a child in grades 1-5 utilize the drop off zone starting tomorrow. Our designated drop off area on the entrance side of the building will be the only area to unload each morning if your child is arriving in a privately owned vehicle. Parking spaces for parents that need to visit the office will be available each morning.

After a warm welcome to the classroom the next priority for our teachers tomorrow will be ensuring we know how each child will be getting home. Please make sure that afternoon transportation is clearly communicated to your child's teacher, especially if it will be different for the first few days. Any transportation changes throughout the year should be communicated to the office via email at info.williams@nhcs.net. Changes should be made before 1:15pm. We are asking that all parents of a kindergarten student park in our main lot and pick their child up from the main office (A-Pod) for the first three days of school. Dismissal will typically begin at 2:35 but we may get started a few minutes early this week as arrival and dismissal typically takes a bit longer the first few days. Please be patient as we build our new routines and procedures.

Please to not hesitate to reach out to our admin team or office staff if we can help answer any questions or assist in any way this school year. Again, we look forward to working with all of our families and we are confident that this is going to be another terrific year at Mary C. Williams! We are excited to have you with us!
