Back-to-School Night, Homecoming & a Strong Start Back-to-School Night, Homecoming & a Strong Start

We’ve had an incredible start to the school year! From classrooms where students feel seen, valued, and heard, to classroom projects already underway and even the launch of our first-ever String Orchestra, our teachers and staff are creating meaningful learning experiences.

Outside the classroom, the Fall Night Rally, Movie Night, and the opening of the Red Wave have brought students together and built school spirit, while our coaches continue to lead the Pack on the field.

Looking ahead, we are excited to welcome all families to Back-to-School Night! This is a great opportunity to connect with teachers, learn about class expectations, and see what your student will be studying this year. Your support makes a big difference, and we look forward to seeing you there.

And don’t forget—Homecoming is coming soon! Tickets are already on sale, so please encourage your student to purchase theirs early before they sell out. This is always one of the most memorable events of the year, and we can’t wait to celebrate together!

eBike, Bike and Scooter Safety eBike, Bike and Scooter Safety

With the growing number of students riding bicycles and e-bikes to school, we want to partner with families to ensure safe and responsible use. Please take a moment to review the following expectations with your student:

  • Helmet Use – Helmets are required by law for all riders under 18 and are essential for preventing serious injury.

  • Traffic Laws – Students must ride with the flow of traffic, stop at signals and stop signs, and use hand signals when turning.

  • Visibility – Riders should use lights, reflectors, and bright or reflective clothing, particularly during early mornings or evenings.

  • Safe Riding – Students should avoid riding on sidewalks, weaving between vehicles, or carrying passengers.

  • Bike Parking – All bicycles and e-bikes should be parked in the designated bike racks on campus and secured with a sturdy lock. You WILL NOT be able to park your bike/ebike on campus without completing the TVUSD Safe Rider Course. Campus supervisors will begin checking for bike permit stickers on September 1. See the flyer and link below.

Students are prohibited from making arrangements for food deliveries during the school day (delivered food will be turned away). The TVUSD nutritional services team provides the option of breakfast and lunch to all TVUSD students. Bouquets of flowers, balloons, and other gifts will not be accepted at the front office for student delivery. We also ask that parents refrain from dropping off electronic devices/cell phones to students for pick up, as we cannot be responsible for lost or stolen items.
