Thank you Saints for supporting our annual Foundation Gala
Thank you, Saints, for your incredible support of our annual Foundation Gala! It was a beautiful evening filled with joy and celebration as we honored our students, staff, benefactors, and families. We were especially proud to recognize our honorees, Mr. Jonathan and Mrs. Meredith Still, for their generosity and commitment to our school community.
This special event would not have been possible without the dedication of our parent volunteers and staff, whose hard work and generosity made the night truly memorable. We are deeply grateful for each and every one of you.
We are currently finalizing the numbers and look forward to sharing how much was raised. Thank you again, Saints, for your continued support and for making this evening such a success!
Happy National Principal Appreciation Day Mrs. Carpenter!
Friday, May 1st, is National Principals’ Day—a special opportunity to thank Mrs. Carpenter for her leadership and service to our school. We are grateful for her care, dedication, and commitment to Catholic education, which helps our community grow in both faith and learning.
Thank you, Mrs. Carpenter, for all that you do!

The Life Skill of the Week
This week's Life Skill is "Honesty: being straightforward and truthful in words and action." When you are honest, people can believe and depend on you. Being honest helps you build strong friendships and shows that you respect yourself and others. When everyone is truthful, it is easier to solve problems, fix mistakes, and make good choices. Have a great week and let's be sure to focus on this week's Life Skill!
✨Congratulations to our Students of the Month! ✨
Welcome Home Honor Flight Mission 25!
Student Council and our Saints proudly welcomed home Mission 25 this past Sunday. Thank you to everyone who took the time to be part of such a special and heartwarming event. The veterans were truly grateful to see so many smiling faces and were deeply touched by our Saints’ dedication to this meaningful cause. We look forward to our next Honor Flight in October, where we will be sponsoring six veterans!
NJHS Volunteers at Three Square
Our St. Anthony of Padua Saints recently partnered with Three Square Food Bank for a meaningful day of service, and what an incredible impact they made! Our dedicated volunteers helped pack an impressive 18,000 pounds of potatoes—providing nearly 15,000 meals for individuals and families in need throughout our community.
We are so grateful to Three Square for the opportunity to serve alongside such an inspiring organization. Since 2007, they have distributed over 528 million pounds of food and continue to support hundreds of thousands of people facing food insecurity across Southern Nevada.
Thank you to all of our Saints who gave their time and energy to this important cause. Your compassion and willingness to serve truly reflect what it means to walk by faith, not by sight.
3rd Grade Takes Flight at Thrive Aviation! 🛫
Our 3rd grade Saints had an exciting hands-on learning experience this past week as Mrs. Kline and Mrs. Vaskov took them on a field trip to Thrive Aviation! Students explored the world of aviation, learning about aircraft, flight operations, and the many careers in the aviation industry. It was a fun and engaging opportunity that brought classroom learning to life and sparked curiosity in our young learners.
6th Grade Explores the Shark Reef 🦈
Sixth grade Saints had an exciting and educational adventure this week during their field trip to the Shark Reef Aquarium! Students explored a variety of marine life, coming face-to-face with sharks, rays, sea turtles, and more. The experience brought their science learning to life as they observed different ecosystems and learned about ocean conservation. It was a memorable day filled with discovery, curiosity, and plenty of awe-inspiring moments!
Young Innovators Wanted: Netflix STEM Series Casting Local Talent in Las Vegas
Lights, camera, innovation! A new STEM-focused Netflix series, “Schooled,” from former NASA engineer Mark Rober, is holding open-call auditions right here in Las Vegas. Produced by Las Vegas native Jimmy Kimmel, the show will feature teams of young inventors competing in exciting, hands-on science challenges. Local students ages 9–17 who are creative thinkers, builders, and problem-solvers are encouraged to apply.
