Dear JF Cooper Elementary School Families:
If you and your family are observing Yom Kippur, may you have an easy and meaningful fast.
It is HIspanic Heritage Month and we are celebrating at Cooper. Our Dance Party today featured, "We Don't Talk About Bruno." The song is from Disney's Encanto set in Columbia. The piece is written by Lin-Manuel Miranda. We had a great groove going as we packed up for the long weekend.
This week we celebrated Constitution Day and Character Day with an assembly. Mrs. Hauser, Cooper School Counselor led the assembly and we have included some photos below.
Arrival/Dismissal:
Parents dropping off in the AM are asked to pull all the way forward and discharge students along the curb of the building (not the field side). Helping your child to gain independence with their seatbelt and the car door is a great strategy to both build independence and help insure the line moves efficiently. Parents who need to park and enter the building are asked to use the cross walk rather than cutting through the vehicles dropping children off.
Sincerely,
William Marble, EdD
Principal
