Celebrating Healthy Choices, Student Growth & Community Connections!
Red Ribbon Week: Be a Superhero Every Day!
We had a fantastic Red Ribbon Week at Moravia! Throughout the week, our students focused on what it means to be a superhero in everyday life by making healthy choices, showing kindness, and looking for opportunities to help others.
We were also excited to welcome Officer Bates and Police Dog Zoey to our school, along with Naturalist Hannah, who shared engaging learning experiences with our students!
We love having local guest speakers and community members visit our classrooms. These partnerships provide meaningful learning opportunities and help students build connections beyond the school walls.
Don't Be Late for a Very Important Date!
Moravia Theater & Arts Department Presents: Alice in Wonderland
Join us this Friday at 7pm and Saturday at 3pm as our talented students bring Alice in Wonderland to life! Our theater and arts students have been working hard to prepare this production, and we would love to see our community come out to support their creativity, dedication, and hard work.
Come enjoy a wonderful performance and help us celebrate the arts at Moravia!
Wrapping Up the First Quarter & Looking Ahead!
It's hard to believe we are already reaching this point in the school year! This week marks the end of the first quarter for our elementary students and the halfway point of the semester for our junior high and high school students.
As we prepare for parent-teacher conferences, this is a great time to celebrate the progress our students have made, reflect on areas for continued growth, and set goals for the weeks ahead!
Parent-Teacher Conferences
Tuesday, November 10 | 4:00–8:00 PM
Thursday, November 12 | 4:00–8:00 PM
We look forward to welcoming families into our classrooms and having meaningful conversations about student learning and success!
Thanksgiving School Lunch Reminder: November 12th
As we prepare for our annual Thanksgiving meal at school, we ask families to please let your child's teacher know if your child plans to eat school lunch that day. This will help our kitchen staff plan ahead and ensure we have plenty of food prepared for everyone. Thank you for helping us make this special meal a success!
Thank You, Mohawk Families!
As we head into November, we are especially grateful for the students, families, staff, and community members who make Moravia such a special place. Thank you for your continued support, involvement, and partnership in helping our students learn, grow, and succeed.
It's a great time to be a Mohawk! 💙🤍
