Ranger Families, welcome to week 6. What an incredible week 5 we had. Our Rangers laced up their shoes during our Apex Fundraiser, we welcomed hundreds of families during Open House, our book fair in the library was a huge success, and lastly our Rangers had a blast playing Bingo with grandparents during our Grandparents' Day event. We are thankful to our families, students, and staff for making it a memorable week.

This week grades one through five will take their beginning of year MAP Reading assessment. This assessment provides teachers with a baseline measurement of each student's academic achievement. It highlights areas where students may need intervention in as well as identifying high achieving students who would benefit from enrichment. Please encourage your child to do their absolute best so that teachers can gain accurate data.

On Tuesday staff and students with the assistance of JISD P.D. will participate in a scheduled Lockdown Drill. The actual time of the drill is unannounced.

We look forward to another success week of learning.
