Previous Quarter Happenings...
Great Kindness Challenge
All BBE staff and students set aside time to be extra kind at the end of January. We completed many acts of kindness checklists, spread kindness to buddy classes around the building, shared many ways we love BBE, received smiley face balloons in each classroom, took photos with our PTA sponsored yard sign, and visited the SNOW Many Ways to Spread Kindness photo booth! It was a special week here at Bear Branch!
1:1 Meetings
Mrs. Wimberly continued supporting student reflection about our Bear's strengths, hopes, and dreams during individual personalized counseling meetings. Most 1st-5th graders have had a chance to meet with Mrs. Wimberly this school year. She will visit with all remaining students during the 4th quarter.

3rd Grade After School ASL Club
Our 3rd grade American Sign Language Club recently completed our first session! This club is facilitated by Kingwood High School's ASL NHS members and sponsored by Mrs. Wimberly. This has given our students an amazing opportunity to grow their sign language skills and have a better understanding of the Deaf community.
Our 2nd session will begin the week of March 24th. If you have a 3rd grade student, please use this link and consider applying to have a chance at being part of the second session.
