The Weekly CHES Cougar Connection
Week of November 25th, 2024
"Ready for Rest, Relaxation and the Very First CHESgiving!"
Dearest CHES Families,
Happy Thanksgiving Week! As we step into this special time of year, we want to take a moment to express our gratitude for each and every one of you who make our CHES community so vibrant and caring. Thanksgiving is a time to celebrate, share, and reflect on the blessings in our lives, and we’re thankful to be part of your family’s journey. This week, we hope you find time to relax, savor some delicious meals, and enjoy precious moments with loved ones. Whether you’re hosting a feast, traveling, or staying cozy at home, take the opportunity to recharge and make memories that will last a lifetime.
As we step into this season of gratitude, we are excited to announce a very special event: our first-ever CHESgiving! This Tuesday, all of our students will come together to celebrate the spirit of Thanksgiving with a day filled with fellowship, fun, and learning.
Here’s what to look forward to:
- Morning STREAM Activities: Students will engage in hands-on Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics activities designed to spark creativity and collaboration.
- Thanksgiving Lunch Together: Students will share a meal in a spirit of gratitude and togetherness. They can choose to buy lunch from the cafeteria or bring their own lunch as usual.
- Turkey Trot Races: Get ready for some friendly competition and lots of cheering during our exciting Turkey Trot races!
CHESgiving is all about celebrating gratitude, building connections, and making memories as a school community. We are so thankful for the opportunity to share this day with our incredible students!
From all of us at CHES, we wish you a joyful, restful, and gratitude-filled Thanksgiving holiday. We can’t wait to see you all back, recharged and ready to continue learning and growing together!
Happy Thanksgiving!
We are CHES and our cougars climb to new heights! 🐾
