The Week of February 1, 2026
Catholic Schools Week, Book Fair, HSA Thank you!

Dear Parents and Guardians,
As we begin the month of February, we do so with hearts grounded in faith and hope. This week we celebrate the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord, a beautiful reminder of Mary and Joseph faithfully presenting Jesus in the Temple and offering Him completely to God. In this moment, we are reminded that our children are precious gifts from God, entrusted to us to guide, nurture, and lead in faith.
Simeon proclaims Jesus as a light for all nations, and that image of light is especially meaningful for our school community. Each day at Saint Peter Cathedral School, we strive to help our students grow as children of the Light—developing not only academically, but spiritually, morally, and compassionately. Through prayer, service, and learning, we continue to walk by faith together.
As February unfolds, we thank you for your continued partnership, trust, and support. May this month be one of renewed dedication to God’s plan for our children and a reminder that when we place our faith in Him, He leads us exactly where we are meant to be.
May the light of Christ shine brightly in your homes and hearts.
With gratitude and prayers,
Karen Banta
Principal, Saint Peter Cathedral School
