Please make sure that your student goes to bed early and eat breakfast in the morning. They will be taking MAP test all week (Reading and Math in English and Reading in Spanish). Thank you for your support.

Please view the videos below with directions to help you with homework at home! We will send homework with this format each week to help you keep it consistent. The documents below are instructions in English and Spanish, as well as a list of ALL heart words this year.

The video below is a SAMPLE PAGE. THe directions that were sent home last week are SAMPLES. The HALF SHEET is always the one intended for homework that week for your child, and should match the spelling rule on their fluency passages.

Speacial Visitor! Barney the Biblioperro visited our classes on Friday! He passed out free books to each first grader! We have been reading a story called Waiting for the Biblioburro in first grade and learning about mobile libraries.

On September 11th we will have our DLI Math Night! We will meet at La Villa Supermercado (across from the school) to explore math skills in real life! More details to come soon.

You may send in a note with your child or email parkstreet@marietta-city.org with the details of the change.
