The Rowers Report
A newsletter for Families Rowing Toward Student Success

August 15, 2025
Captains Log
Dear RFMS Families,
Wow, what a week!
It has been wonderful to see our students back in the halls and classrooms. We are excited for the year ahead as we Row the Boat toward success.
By next week, all students should have their school-issued Chromebook, which will be an important tool for learning in every classroom. We have high expectations for responsible use of these devices, and we also want to remind families about the new law prohibiting the use of private telecommunication devices (such as cell phones, smart watches, and earbuds) during school hours.
As we row into the future together, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Rockport-Fulton Middle School with any questions or concerns.
Row The Boat,

Car Rider Drop Off and Pick Up
Car Rider Safety Reminder
For the safety of all students, we ask that all car riders be dropped off and picked up in our back car rider lane. We do not have staff stationed near JJ’s for supervision, but we do have staff in the back to ensure a safe and efficient process.
Please remember:
-
Our school day ends at 4:15 PM.
-
The car rider gate opens at 3:55 PM.
-
Most students are picked up and on their way by 4:25 PM.
This process is quick, efficient, and—most importantly—safe. Thank you for partnering with us to make sure every student gets home safely.
