The Marrs Comet Walk (formerly known as Walk-a-Thon) will be on April 17th. We will accept donations until April 24! Please see any Comet to make a contribution! Thank you to everyone who makes this fundraiser possible! NEW this year- Field trip to JB's Barnyard for our top sellers! The school's top seller will be "Principal for the Day."
ILEARN begins next week! 3-5. This is a standardized test required by the state of Indiana. Students will be tested on various days throughout the testing window; teachers will share specific days for testing closer to the window. We ask families to be mindful of scheduling appointments during the testing window. We appreciate your support with student attendance during that time. The PTO will provide snacks for the classroom, but we also ask that students eat breakfast and get plenty of rest. Not only is this test an indicator of your child’s progress, but it is also how the state grades our school, so it is important that we do well!! We look forward to our Marrs students shining through the ILEARN tests!
We are starting to work on our end-of-the-year 5th-grade video, and we need your help! If you haven’t already done so, please send baby/toddler pictures of your student to be included in the video. You may send them to jarvisdm@mvschoool.org, or send them to the school to be scanned. If you are sending in an original copy of the picture, please write your child’s name on the back of the picture or on an envelope.
We will be hosting a graduation ceremony for our 5th graders on May 21 at 1:00 PM.
