Kindness Over Bullies Month Kindness Over Bullies Month

Led by Renee Lundgren and Tucker Gamble

Throughout the month of October, Tigers are coming together to raise awareness, promote kindness, and take action against bullying. Whether it happens in the classroom, on the playground, or online, bullying can leave lasting effects. But with education, support, and student leadership, we can build safer, more respectful environments for everyone.

Random Acts of Kindness We Will be Practicing:

  • Writing a thank you note to a teacher, family member, or a friend who has made a difference.
  • Chat with someone new at school by inviting them to join you at lunch or recess. If they speak another language, you can even learn how they would say hello!
  • Use chalk or sticky notes to leave positive messages around the school.
  • Share a smile or compliment with someone passing by to brighten their day.
  • Create a kindness chain bulletin board for everyone to see!
  • Celebrate weekly “Thoughtful Tigers.”
  • Offer your seat on the bus, in the cafeteria or in the classroom to someone who needs it.
  • Help at school by cleaning up or lending a hand in other ways, like reading to a younger student.
  • Wear Orange on October 24th to represent a day of Unity!
