We Are DWS Kids!
DWS staff members can award any student with a DWS ALL STAR when they see students being Dedicated, Welcoming, or Safe. All of the DWS ALL STAR awards are put on display in the front lobby. The following students were featured in the morning announcements last week for being DWS ALL STARS!
Grade K: Ellie in Mrs. Desharnais’ class is a DWS ALL STAR because she used good manners.
Grade K: Emmett in Mrs. Damelio’s class is a DWS ALL STAR because he was so focused during Number Corner.
Grade 1: Andi in Mrs. Redman’s class is a DWS ALL STAR because she was a Fundations expert.
Grade 1: Gabriel in Mrs. Bertulli’s class is a DWS ALL STAR because he was a great friend at recess and was helping a friend on the swing.
Grade 2: Shaelynn in Ms. Mulligan’s class is a DWS ALL STAR because helped organize the Fundations materials.
Grade 2: Ellery in Mrs. Auriemma’s class is a DWS ALL STAR because she offered to leave a workplace with too many students.
Grade 3: Sammy in Mrs. Hanson’s class is a DWS ALL STAR because he walked safely down the hall.
Grade 3: JP in Mrs. Hanson’s class is a DWS ALL STAR because he helped a classmate understand an assignment.
Grade 4: Dom in Mrs. Farrell’s class is a DWS ALL STAR because he helped others stay safe in the hallway.
Grade 4: Davi in Mrs. Farrell’s class is a DWS ALL STAR because he was dedicated to keeping our space clean.
Grade 5: John D. in Mrs. SanAngelo’s class is a DWS ALL STAR because he consistently follows the expectations and is a role model for others.
Grade 5: Ella in Ms. LaForest’s class is a DWS ALL STAR because she followed expectations the first time.

Next PTO Meeting: Monday 10/7/24 in the DWS library at 7:00 p.m. The meeting will be held by our new 2024-2025 PTO board. Meetings will continue to be on the first Monday of every month.
This is a great time to attend the meeting and share your ideas for this year!

Please join the DWS PTO on PTBoard, today! PTBoard is an online platform that we will be using to communicate school information, events and volunteer opportunities to families.
