Mid-Term for Term II was this past week.

Please take a moment to review your child’s progress with them. You can follow these steps to view mid-term averages on your Aspen portal:

· Select the “MY INFO” top tab

· Select the “TRANSCRIPT” side tab

· Your child’s quarter two mid-term averages will be listed under the column heading of “Q2prg”.

If you are experiencing login difficulties please contact the Hingham Aspen Help Desk at aspenhelp@hinghamschools.org.

Questions or concerns regarding your child’s class average should be directed to the appropriate teacher.

Congratulations Henry Ciavocvo, Anna Magyar, and Grayson Teague (not available for photo) for having been recognized for their essays for this year's Patriot's Pen Essay Contest. We are very proud of them!

One Act Plays

Bravo to Mrs. Fish's Drama Students for their One Act Plays, performed last week. Keep an eye on these individuals. We're sure you'll see many of them on the stage again soon!

Currently in Health class, students are focusing on “self-care” with a focus on personal hygiene.

As our students continue to grow and navigate the exciting years of middle school, personal hygiene becomes increasingly important—not just for health, but also for confidence and comfort in the classroom.

To help support what we are talking about in class, we kindly ask that you remind your middle schooler of the importance of:

• Showering/bathing regularly

• Brushing their teeth twice a day

• Making sure the clothes they choose to wear are clean and laundered

• Using deodorant as needed

• 
  

Your support at home helps students feel their best and contributes to a positive learning environment for everyone.

Sign-Ups for the January 10 Ski Trip will begin this Monday, December 15. Sign up forms have been emailed to all ski club members and may also be picked up outside the main office!

• December 16 - One Act Plays at HMS. 7:00 PM start.

• December 24 - January 4 - Winter Break
• January 5 - Classes Resume

Now Accepting Preschool Applications for 2026!

Our Hingham High School Preschool Program is officially accepting applications.

• Location: Hingham High School
• Program Dates: March 2 – May 15
• Days: Monday, Wednesday, Friday
• Time: 8:15–11:45 a.m.
• Tuition: $450 (with a $50 deposit to hold your spot)
