Weekly Update 1/9

Dear Oak Brook Families,

Thank you for helping your child settle back in to school routines after winter break. Overall, it has been a smooth week, and it has been great seeing our students and staff back and working together. We do want to share one reminder regarding parent drop off. When dropping off students in the back, we ask that you please wait in line behind the car in front of you. We have noticed a few cars dropping off and then cutting through the middle of the lot. While this may allow you to finish drop off more quickly, it could put students in danger. We appreciate your patience and cooperation.

On Tuesday, Panera will host a PTO fundraiser for Oak Brook. Funds raised through our PTO go right back into our school community as they pay for events like Spirit Night and our Heritage Festival. They also directly support our classrooms and students by providing grants for teachers and other items for our students. A flyer from Panera was sent home earlier or you can print the one below; please take the flyer with you and give it to the cashier when you order.

Just a reminder... School will not be in session next Friday, January 16th and Monday, January 19th.
