As we wrap up this incredible school year, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to all of our River Mill families for your support, partnership, and care throughout the year. It has truly been a joy watching your children grow, learn, and thrive!
A big thank you to the many families who came out to help with Field Day—it was such a fun and energetic way to celebrate the end of the year with our students, and we couldn’t have done it without you! Your enthusiasm and willingness to volunteer make such a difference.
To our 5th grade families, thank you for helping us honor our students during the promotion ceremony. It was a special and memorable event as we celebrated this important milestone. A huge shoutout to our incredible PTO for all the time, energy, and creativity they poured into the decorations and event setup—everything looked beautiful and truly added to the celebration.
This school year has been filled with learning, growth, laughter, and memories that we will carry with us. We’re proud of what our students have accomplished and grateful for the strong community we’ve built together.

At River Mill, we want to ensure every student has the best opportunity to learn and grow each day. Recently, we’ve noticed an increase in tardies and early pick-ups, and we want to remind families how important it is for students to be at school on time and stay for the full day. Arriving late can cause students to miss important instruction, while leaving early means they may not get the full benefit of their learning time. Every minute in the classroom matters! We understand that occasional appointments and emergencies happen, but whenever possible, please schedule these outside of school hours. Thank you for your support in making sure your child gets the most out of their school day!
