Randolph Families,
It was wonderful to see many of you at Open House! We are ready for an energizing and engaging school year. The "TOP 10" list can be found below. Please familiarize yourself with this document. If you need anything, please call our main office 804-556-5385.
ARRIVAL:
- Doors open at 7:45am each morning. Be sure to not let children out of the car until you see staff members outside in the car loop. Staff will direct the flow of traffic and open car doors. Please do not get out of your cars. The tardy bell rings at 8:00am. If doors are closed when you arrive, please escort your child to the front office to be signed in. Students should not attempt to enter school on their own after 8:00am
- Parents are not permitted to walk down to the classrooms. If your child needs help with carrying supplies, we will have a number of staff ready to help our roadrunners!
- Please report to the bus stop at least 10 minutes prior to your bus stop time. Do not wait inside homes, vehicles, or porches
- PK-3rd grade require an adult physically present at the bus stop morning and afternoons
DISMISSAL:
- We aim to have our buses leaving RES at 2:30pm. Please be sure you are at the bus stop to greet your children
- Our car line dismissal begins at 2:30pm. Please do not arrive before 2:15pm. Please have your car tag visible in your front dashboard. If you did not attend open house, your car tags will be in your child's green folder on the first day. Every child will be given a car tag regardless of whether they are a car rider or a bus rider (in case of an emergency dismissal). If you need re-prints due to mis-spelling or just need additional tags, please complete this form: CAR TAG REQUEST FORM

It will take a few weeks to get into a groove at both arrival and dismissal. We cannot wait to see all of our roadrunners!

The GCPS Transportation Department has worked very hard during breaks, after hours, and sometimes over the weekend to bring you our latest bus app. Check it out: HERE COMES THE BUS APP *if you have any issues, please reach out directly to our transportation department
- As a reminder, parents who wish to chaperone a field trip or volunteer regularly in your school must submit to a background check every 2 years using the BIB portal. *link will always be at the bottom of this newsletter throughout the year

All Things PTA
It was so great to see all the smiling faces on Thursday night! We are excited for a fun upcoming year! Membership for the PTA has opened, and we would love for you to join us! Membership dues are $8 (annually), no further commitment is required, but we would love to hear from you at our meetings! 3 meetings are scheduled for this year (October 4th, February 7th, and May 1st). Please feel free to join with the memberhub link below!
