September is Attendance Awareness Month
September Attendance Awareness Month
Every Day Counts!
September is Attendance Awareness Month, and your school social workers would like to remind families that regular school attendance plays a vital role in student success. Consistent attendance helps students stay connected to their learning, build positive relationships, and develop important routines that support academic and social growth.
While occasional absences are sometimes unavoidable, missing school can make it harder for students to keep up with classroom instruction and activities. We encourage families to prioritize daily attendance, establish consistent routines, and communicate with the school when challenges arise.
If your family is experiencing barriers that may impact your child's attendance, please reach out to your school's social worker. We are here to partner with you, connect you with resources, and help ensure every student has the opportunity to thrive.
Let's work together to make every day count!
