Week 26

Our school will be administering the Measurable Results Assessment (MRA), a survey and reporting system designed to provide insights into the progress of our school. In order to provide a holistic picture of what is going on in our school, the MRA includes three different surveys;

1) one completed by all school staff

2) one completed by students in grades 4 and above, and

3) one completed by the families of students in all grades

We hope you will participate so we can use the feedback to make our school an even better place for students and families. If you have any questions about the surveys or wish to see a list of questions, please contact the school’s front office.

FAMILY SURVEY

WHAT: Online survey completed by one member of each household.

• Survey typically takes about 5 minutes to complete
• Questions relate to the experiences you and your child have at our school.
• Answers are anonymous--to encourage people to be honest and open, no names and other identifying information will be collected.
  
  

WHEN: The survey is now available for you to take through March 20, 2026

HOW: The survey can be taken from any computer, smartphone, or tablet with internet access. Click ENTER SURVEY below to begin.

This is the final week for the fundraiser. Remind your friends/family they can Zelle or Venmo you if they don't have cash and you can make a run to the bank all at once at the end to retrieve the cash to support our school. Please turn in white order envelope by Friday, March 13th. Please be sure to double check to see that packet is completely filled out and cash submitted is the correct amount.

If you have picky eaters and want to know when to pack a lunch and when not to, please be sure to download the district's YUMYUMMI app. Of course, once in a while, there are items on the menu subject to change due to availability.

Parent-Teacher Conferences are happening this week!

This is a valuable opportunity to connect with your child’s teacher, learn about their academic progress, and discuss how we can work together to support their success in the classroom and at home. Even a short conversation can make a big difference in your child’s learning and confidence.

We encourage all families to attend and be part of the partnership that helps our students thrive. We look forward to seeing you!

Here are 3 helpful questions parents can ask during elementary school parent-teacher conferences:

How is my child doing academically compared to grade-level expectations?

• This helps you understand strengths, areas for improvement, and whether extra support might be helpful.

What skills should we be practicing more at home?

• Teachers can suggest specific reading, math, or study habits that reinforce classroom learning.

How does my child interact socially in class?

• Asking about friendships, participation, and behavior can give insight into your child’s social and emotional development.

On Friday the 13th, we celebrate 125 days of school! Please come dressed like a MINION as we have a MILLION things to celebrate here at Multnomah!

For the month of March, our top 3 classes, one from each program, will receive a special McDonald's Happy Meal for lunch. Will it be your class?

We’re getting ready for our on-campus Easter Egg Hunt to help our students celebrate the spirit of spring before Spring Break! To make this event exciting for everyone, we’re asking families to donate pre-filled plastic Easter eggs.

Donations of eggs filled with small candies or toys will help ensure every student gets to join in the fun.

Please send your donated eggs with your child to school by Friday, March 20th.
