ELA- Mrs. Forderhase
This week, students completed a writing pre-assessment and worked hard completing NWEA testing. Thankfully, we are finished with pre-assessing for a while. We also began lessons about author’s signposts in literature. Students will begin to notice and note when they come across these signposts in their own reading. As always, thank you for encouraging your child to read at home regularly. They should finish their second book by September 16.

Science- Mrs. Kenney
This week in science, students finished working on their five density labs. Students followed the scientific method to find the densities of different metals. On Thursday, students had time to complete any of the labs and complete their study guide. Then, students studied for their density test. On Friday, students began their density test. They will need to complete the test on Monday.
