Tiger Tales
Our Aspen Family Newsletter
Hello Aspen Families,
Thank you so much for all of your support with PTO's annual fundraiser, Tiger Trot! The weather started a little dicey, but ended up being a great morning! Our students had a blast running laps and then heading over to the homecoming parade later in the day. It was great to see so many Aspen students celebrating together at the parade. With all of your support, we raised just almost $10,000 for our school!
Thank you for your continued support and partnership. We appreciate everything you do at home to support your children and our school. We hope your family has a wonderful October and gets to enjoy a little extra fall weather along the way!
Thank you for being part of our Aspen community!

Halloween Information
As we get closer to the end of the month, I will send out a separate newsletter with more specific Halloween information for you to reference.
As you begin preparing for Halloween and need help with securing a costume this year for your child, please reach out to our school counselor, Mrs. Holladay. She would be happy to work with families that may need a little extra support.
Tiger Birthdays
Celebrate your child's birthday by having their name on the Aspen Marquee and/or have Aspen the Tiger visit at school! Aspen will bring your child a small gift and have the students sing Happy Birthday to your child. A photo can also be emailed to the parent, by request. Please fill out the form at least two weeks before the birthday and submit payment online after submitting the form.
Aspen Spirit Wear
Check out our Aspen Tigers Spirit Wear Store from ViaStyle Designs. There are new designs on t-shirts, sweatshirts, and blankets. They are a local Aspen family!
Attendance Matters!!
Regular school attendance is one of the most important factors in your child’s success. Every day of learning builds on the last, and missing even a few days can make it harder for students to stay on track. Coming to school on time each day helps children feel connected to their classroom, build strong routines, and make the most of their learning opportunities. Thank you for supporting your child by making school attendance a priority—it truly makes a difference!
For additional attendance resources, please utilize the Attendance Works website.
Late Arrivals
If a student arrives late to school—even just a minute after the bell—a grown-up must come into the office to sign them in. This helps us keep accurate attendance records and ensures every child is safely accounted for. Thank you for partnering with us to keep our students safe and our records accurate!
