Dual Credit Opportunities
Your path to earning college credit starts now!
Why consider Dual Credit?
Dual credit courses allow high school students to earn both high school and college credit at the same time—saving money, building confidence, and giving students a head start on postsecondary goals.
Participating in dual credit can help students:
- Explore possible majors
- Strengthen college applications
- Reduce future college course loads
- Save on tuition costs
- Experience college-level expectations while still in high school
Is Dual Credit right for you?
Every student’s journey is unique. Students are encouraged to schedule a conversation with their school counselor to talk through:
- Which courses match their career interests
- Whether the workload is a good fit
- Admission requirements (GPA, tests, etc.)
- How dual credit impacts scheduling and graduation plans
- Your school counselor can help you build a plan that makes sense academically, financially, and personally.
