Summer Professional Development with TX CAN!
Looking for professional development that matches your needs and time-constraints? TEA’s Texas Complex Access Network (TX CAN) has worked to develop a variety of resources to fit your needs.
Only have a few minutes? Visit our Monthly Instructional Guides regularly. TX CAN portions out information in the guides over the course of the year to help you keep up. The May Guide provides information on transitioning students to new campuses and creating student support binders, organizing the classroom for the end of the year, closing out Admission, Review and Dismissal (ARD) folders, producing materials in advance of next year and celebrating your paraprofessionals.
If you have a bit more time, consider enrolling in the TX CAN course, Accessible Instructional Materials (AIM) for Students with Complex Access Needs. The course will help you design and implement accessible instructional materials for your students and offers 3 hours of CPE credit and a digital badge.
TX CAN always strives to deliver high-quality, evidence-based education tools to support you! Visit txcan.tea.texas.gov to stay on top of new research and best practices, or reach out to me, your regional TX CAN contact, for support!
