Weymouth Early Childhood Center
2025-2026
September 7, 2025
Good Morning,
We’re Off to a Great Start at WECC!
We loved seeing so many happy faces—parents, guardians, and grandparents—during our Parent Orientation and Student Orientation days at WECC this past week. It was heartwarming to watch students and families connect, explore the school, and prepare for a fantastic school year.
We are so excited to officially welcome WECC students into the building for their first days of school this upcoming week!
Important Reminders for Drop-Off and Pick-Up at Door #7:
Morning Drop-Off:
-
Please stay behind the orange cones and do not come up the stairs in the morning.
-
WECC staff will be outside each day to escort your preschooler into the building.
-
Each student should bring their communication folder labeled with their name to help us identify their classroom.
-
This week, WECC staff will place classroom tags on student backpacks to help identify where your child belongs.
If you did not attend orientation:
-
It’s essential that we have your emergency contact information on file.
-
We will have a table set up at drop-off for families to complete this paperwork.
-
Please stop by the table before leaving in the morning.
Afternoon Dismissal:
-
Yellow gates or orange cones will be set up in the parking lot at the end of the school day. We ask all families to stand behind the gates/cones.
-
Classes will walk down the sidewalk to their designated meeting spots.
-
Teaching staff will personally connect each child with their parent or guardian at dismissal.
If someone else from your approved contact list is picking up your child:
-
They must bring a photo ID.
-
We cannot release students to anyone not on your contact list or without proper identification.
Safety is our top priority, and we appreciate your cooperation!
We look forward to welcoming you!

WECC's Parent Orientation Night
Thank you to Weymouth SEPAC, Weymouth CFCE, and Champions for attending our WECC Parent Orientation Night.
It was wonderful to see families come together and learn about the valuable resources and support these organizations offer to students and their families. We appreciate your continued partnership and dedication to our community!

A reminder that the tuition contract and first of 10 tuition payments is due September 1st. Tuition can be mailed to the school, dropped in the silver lockbox at door #7 or paid to the school office starting Monday, August 25th between the hours of 8-3pm. Parking
Parking & Arrival Information
Below is an aerial map of our building to help guide you through our arrival and dismissal procedures. Please review the following carefully to ensure a smooth and safe experience for all students and families:
🚗 Driveway Access & Parking
-
The driveway (horseshoe) is outlined in blue on the map.
-
All vehicles must enter single file into the horseshoe.
-
When parking, please pull all the way around to the farthest available spot on the right-hand side to allow as many families as possible to park behind you.
🚪 Student Drop-Off & Pick-Up
-
All students must be walked to Door #7, which is the front entrance of WECC.
-
Staff members will be outside to greet students and families during arrival and dismissal.
-
There will be designated staff members at drop-off and pick-up spots, so you’ll always know where to meet your child.
♿ Handicap Parking
-
The parking lot directly in front of the entrance is reserved for families needing handicap access only. Please do not park in this lot unless needed.
⚠️ Traffic & Safety Reminders
-
Drop-off and pick-up may take a little extra time during the first few weeks as everyone adjusts to the new routine—thank you for your patience!
-
If you're concerned about getting stuck in traffic or need to leave quickly, consider parking on Academy Ave. or Middle St. and walking your child to the entrance.
-
Please drive slowly and cautiously—safety is our top priority for all children and families.
We appreciate your cooperation and support in helping arrival and dismissal run smoothly!
How to update your Aspen Account
How to update your Aspen Family Portal Account
In preparation for Parent Orientation, we are asking that each family log into ASPEN using the Portal, Login and Password information that has been sent from the technology department with the email entitled "Welcome to the Aspen Family Portal". This will allow you to update your emergency contacts and medical form. It is important that you have 4 emergency contacts in addition to you as the parent/guardian.
We are asking that you complete the following steps by noon on Thursday, August 28th.
Once you have accessed your account - look at the page in full view. In the middle of the page you will see "Contact Verification and Pink form" a "+ initiation". Click on the '+Initiation" This will bring you a pop-up, click "Next" to make changes to the contacts.
Halfway down the page, click on your student's name in blue. This will bring you to the student's medical information. Be sure to have the most updated information in this form as you will be confirming the information and signing off on the night of parent orientation.
**Be sure to click "OK" once you complete your updates on each form.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to call at 781-335-0191 or email: kristen.clancy@weymouthps.org
