Meet Your Teacher
Dear Starr King Families,
We are excited to welcome you to our Meet Your Teacher Day on August 12th at 1:00 p.m.!
This is a great opportunity for students and families to meet their teacher, connect with staff, visit classrooms, and become familiar with the campus before the First Day of School on August 13th.
Teachers will share important information for the school year, and students will have a chance to ask questions, make connections, and feel more comfortable before school begins.
We look forward to welcoming our new and returning families and starting another wonderful year together!

Meet Your Teacher
Start at the Main Office if you need assistance or have questions.
Use the main hallways to find your child’s grade-level wing.
Head to your child’s classroom, where teachers will be waiting to welcome you and your student.
This is a great opportunity to meet your child’s teacher, learn about classroom routines and expectations, ask questions about homework and schedules, and learn about upcoming events and field trips. You are also encouraged to share any information, concerns, or ways you would like to support your child’s learning throughout the year.

Starr King Schedule
Dear Starr King Families,
We are excited to welcome our students back to campus! A friendly reminder that the school day begins at 8:00 AM, and arriving on time each day is an important part of your child’s educational success. Being at school and in class on time helps students start their day prepared, connected, and ready to learn.
For students eating breakfast at school, the cafeteria opens at 7:15 AM and closes at 7:50 AM.
Please take a moment to review our school's scheduled beginning and ending times to ensure students arrive early ready to learn and are picked up on time.
Regular Dismissal Time 2:20pm (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday)
TK and Kindergarten dismissal is at 12:00pm everyday. (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday)
Every Thursday is early dismissal at 1:20 PM for grades 1st-8th
