Appreciating Staff! Appreciating Staff!

Hello caregivers,

As the school year winds down, our calendars fill with final projects, field days, and celebrations. It’s a busy season — but also a perfect moment to pause and recognize the incredible work our teachers and staff members do each day.

Nichols teachers and staff members are behind every academic success and personal milestone our scholars achieve. They not only deliver lessons, help students navigate challenges in and out of the classroom, but they inspire creativity, perseverance, and compassion. They encourage when confidence wavers, and they challenge when potential is just beginning to shine.

Next week we will be celebrating our FIRST CLASS STAFF, let’s show our gratitude in meaningful ways. A heartfelt note from you or your scholar can mean so much to a teacher or staff member. Sharing a specific memory — a time when a teacher or staff member made a difference — reminds them that their work matters beyond the classroom walls. Volunteering time, supporting classroom needs, or simply expressing sincere thanks at school events also goes a long way.

Appreciation doesn’t have to be grand. It just needs to be genuine. Our Nichols staff members deserve to feel seen, valued, and celebrated — not just in May, but every month of the year.

When we lift them up, we strengthen our entire community. Let’s take the time to say thank you — loudly, proudly, and often. Appreciation week will officially begin May 5-9, 2025.

These scores are so very important, particularly as we plan for next year. These scores also guide the instruction that students will receive.
