As mentioned in my previous letter, I am providing information regarding the Parent/Family Equity Survey.
Equity Audit and Surveys
In October, Mr. Deo Mwano, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion consultant, was hired by the District to focus on diversity, inclusion, equity, and justice.
Over the last several months, Mr. Mwano and his team met with parents, students, Board members, administrators, and staff members to learn about our community and develop the questions that are included in the surveys.
Thank you to those who took the time to have a conversation and provide input to Mr. Mwano and his team.
This evening, I am sending the link to the parent/family survey. Please review Mr. Mwano's video before completing the survey.

During February and March, Mr. Mwano and his team will review the survey responses and create a summary report. He will present the report to the School Board and work with administrators to develop goals for the next Three Year Strategic Plan (2022-2025).
