Leadership Leadership

And That’s a Wrap!

The classrooms are quiet, the lockers are cleared, and the school year is officially in the books. We made it!

To our amazing families: thank you. Thank you for your partnership, your energy, and your endless support over the past ten months. A school community is only as strong as the families behind it, and you all made this year incredibly special.

Cheers to Summer Break

Whether your upcoming months involve epic road trips, neighborhood barbecues, or simply mastering the art of sleeping in, we hope this summer brings exactly what your family needs to recharge.

As you dive into the sunny days ahead, we leave you with three simple wishes:

  • Be Safe: Take care of yourselves and each other, whether you're by the pool, on the trails, or just riding bikes around the block.

  • Enjoy and Connect: Unplug a little, laugh a lot, and savor the slower pace of summer mornings.

  • Keep Learning (Just a Little!): Spot a cool bug? Read a great book under a tree? It all counts!

Have a wonderful, joyful, and safe summer break. Rest up, make some amazing memories, and we will see you all refreshed and ready to go in the fall!

Warmly,

FLCS Admin team

Maritime Adventure 2027 Maritime Adventure 2027

Pack Your Bags! Maritimes Adventure Awaits

Get ready for the ultimate East Coast expedition! Our Junior High students have the opportunity to travel to the beautiful Canadian Maritimes in May 2027 for an unforgettable journey packed with history, stunning coastal landscapes, and vibrant traditions.

From historic ports to island charm, this trip promises to be the highlight of the school year.

Where We’re Headed:

  • Halifax, Nova Scotia: We'll dive into rich maritime history, explore the iconic waterfront, and step back in time at the historic Citadel.

  • Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island: Students will walk the historic streets of the Birthplace of Confederation and experience the charm of Canada's smallest province.

  • Moncton, New Brunswick: The perfect hub to experience the natural wonder of the Bay of Fundy tides and the warmth of East Coast hospitality.

Cultural Spotlight: The Acadian Experience

A massive highlight of our journey will be immersing ourselves in the rich, lively French Acadian culture.

Through interactive experiences, traditional music, and storytelling, students will connect deeply with the resilient history and unique heritage of the Acadian people. It’s more than a history lesson—it’s a sensory experience full of spirit, folklore, and community.

Stay Tuned! A detailed itinerary, packing lists, and mandatory parent meeting dates will be shared in the coming days. Let's get ready to make some lifelong memories on the East Coast!
