Monitoring Your Student's Achievement And Growth

In all classes, our teachers are using data to determine instructional decisions so your student is positioned to meet or exceed grade-level expectations by the end of the year. A classroom teacher publishes whole-class growth and achievement data and discusses classroom learning procedures and norms with students: What is going well? What needs to be adjusted for optimum success?

Your student is also asked to monitor their own learning. As the semester and year come to an end, the proficiency measures you should see in PowerSchool are "3" and/or "4." If you are observing an "M," "1," or "2," please work alongside your student so your student can make a plan with their teacher.
