February: A Month of Grit and Grace

Dear Sierra Bonita Families,

February is a great time to pause, reset, and keep moving forward together. As the winter months continue, I love to see resilience from our students—trying again, working through challenges, and growing a little more each day. Those moments matter and make me incredibly proud. I encourage families to support this at home by celebrating effort, talking through setbacks, and reminding children that mistakes are part of learning.

It’s also a great time to encourage students to show kindness to everyone around them, making our school community even stronger. When school and home work together to model perseverance, optimism, and kindness, our students build confidence that will carry them far beyond the classroom.

6th Grade Course Selection

🎓 Tuesday, February 3rd: Maple Grove Middle School counselors and administrators will meet with 5th grade students

📚 Students will learn about middle school classes and options

📝 Course selection forms will be sent home

👨‍👩‍👧 Please complete the form with your child and return it by February 10th

Spanish Fork Recreation

Spanish Fork City Recreation has exciting spring opportunities to keep students moving and engaged! Registration is open for soccer, baseball, track, urban fishing, and more—and families can also enjoy the new Fit City Center. Staying active helps kids stay healthy, focused, and confident at school. CLICK HERE to register.

Boys and Girls Soccer

Games will be played on weeknights beginning in April (Spring Season) and August (Fall Season). There is a Soccer Camp option with fall registration. Registration begins in January (Spring Season) and mid-May/June (Fall Season). Registration Information
