Dear Peirce Families,
Thank you for all your help last week. We had a great turnout at both the 6th Grade Social, a Rita's Water Ice fundraiser, and picture day went very well. For any students that missed picture day (or want to have them taken again), retakes will take place on Thursday, November 14 over the lunch periods.
This week at Peirce, we will recognize our maintenance and custodial staff on Wednesday, October 2 as part of National Custodians Day. Mr. Estes and Mr. Rodriquez, our daytime custodians, are incredibly responsive to the needs of the students and staff and make every effort to ensure the building operates at a high level and we are fortunate to have them as part of our team. Additionally, our nighttime custodians do excellent job making sure our classrooms, bathrooms, and hallways are cleaned each night for the next school day. We are appreciative of their dedication to the school as well.
Lastly, on Thursday, October 3, there is no school for students (Rosh Hashanah Holiday).
Mrs. Garratty is running low on student clothing for the nurse's office this fall. This items are used when students need to change mid-day. Please see the attached flyer for more information or reach out to Mrs. Garraty at bgarraty@wcasd.net.
