Ashland Preschool Update

Hello Preschool Families,

This week at Pittaway, we had a wonderful time celebrating Read Across America Week with a variety of special spirit days and engaging literacy activities across our preschool classrooms. In addition to reading books connected to our current curriculum theme of Construction, teachers shared many fun and silly stories that matched our daily spirit day themes. Students especially enjoyed participating in Hat Day and Stuffed Animal Day, and it was so nice to see their excitement as they proudly shared their favorite items with friends and teachers. We hope that by participating in spirit days and enjoying joyful read-aloud together, we continue to nurture a lifelong love of reading and books in all of our students. Thank you for your continued support in helping make literacy both meaningful and fun for our preschoolers!

Please don't forget to join us next Thursday March 19th at the Ashland Ale House to support our PTO. A portion of all food sales will be donated back to the PTO, which they will use to fund activities and purchase supplies for the preschool. Please make sure to mention Ashland Preschool or show the flyer that will be sent home prior to this event.

Save the date for this year Pittaway Open House. This years theme is Out of This World. This is a family drop in event that will run from 4:30pm-6:30pm. More details will be shared as we get closer.

We currently have a waitlist for all our classes for the 26/27 school year, except for our 4-day 3-year-old AM class. If you are interested in signing up for this option, please send your application to Donna Pederson dpederson@ashland.k12.ma.us

If your child receives a placement through Special Education, the Teams will be making recommendations during upcoming IEP meetings and will communicate that with you.

Prospective Families Information Session Presentation

Mark your calendars for Thursday, March 19th, and join us at Ashland Ale House! A portion of all in-person and takeout food orders placed throughout the day will be donated back to the Pittaway PTO. It’s a delicious way to support our school community.
