The re-enrollment process ensures that your child’s information is accurate,

and allows the schools to prepare the necessary services for the coming school year.

Families, friends and relatives may have moved or changed phone numbers,

this information is vital in case of an emergency and must be accurate.

We have lots of field trips and school activities this time of year and we'd love your help.

If you would like to volunteer or chaperone on trips,

you need to be an approved volunteer in our Visitor Aware system..

Once you are in the system with an updated background check,

you do not need to renew for 3 years.

We are looking for volunteers to lead small reading activity groups for Reading Fleet 2026.

Reading Fleet is a way to enjoy books, meet new people and learn in different spaces.

You pick the grade level. You choose the book. You decide on the activity to go with it.

Come join the fleet!

2nd grade hits the stage April 9th @6pm.

You are invited to join us for the Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run -

a powerful event celebrating inclusion, community, and the spirit of the Special Olympics.

All are welcome to participate and support this meaningful cause.

Let’s come together to celebrate courage, determination, and unity in our community.

Look for your weekly newsletter, Little Paws Press, in your inboxes every Monday afternoon.

There will be lots of useful info stored at the end of each for your reference all year.

General School Information

Emails from PowerschoolMessenger and Smore will be the main

form of communication that you will receive for all general

school information and updates outside of your student's classroom.

Urgent or Emergency Communications

All school emergency notices or alerts will be sent through

PowerSchoolMessenger emails or PowerSchoolMessenger automated calls.

Please take a moment to confirm that your phone numbers and emails

are up to date and correct in your parent portal or check with us in the office.

Individual Classroom/Teacher Communications

KIBSD Staff will only be communicating through district issued devices and applications.

Faculty and staff will no longer be texting or calling with their personal phone numbers.

If you need to reach your child's teacher during the school day please

email, connect via SeeSaw or call the office to leave a message.

Need to speak with your principal?

Call the office to see if Ms. Audra is available or to leave a message.

Ms. Audra always tries to make time to speak with families

but scheduling an appointment time is recommended.
