June 19, 2025

Dear Crownhill families:

The Bremerton School District is pleased to introduce Carre Potis as the new Crownhill Principal.

Ms. Potis has been an outstanding educational leader in the Bremerton School District since 2018. During her tenure, she has served as assistant principal and principal at Mountain View Middle School, and most recently, as co-principal at West Hills STEM Academy. Her dedication to equity and student success has been evident in all her leadership roles.

Ms. Potis brings extensive experience in implementing systems that support all students in a school community. She is committed to building upon the great work already in place at Crownhill, while also leading Crownhill into its next chapter by listening and learning in partnership with the Crownhill school community.

We hope you’ll join us in welcoming Ms. Potis to the Crownhill family!

Donna Colosky
Superintendent
