No Worries! We can Replace SMART Tags
If your Tiger(s) lost part or all of the SMART Tag equipment, we are happy to replace them upon receipt of the cost to replace the missing or broken items. Just let our Receptionist, Mrs. Michelle Harper, know what needs to be replaced. She can accept payment by exact cash (sorry, we have zero change) or by check payable to WCHE. The price list is:

Hello WCHE families!
The months of November and December typically fly by in the guidance world, so I have included summaries of guidance for both months here today. As many of you know, November 13 was National Kindness Day, and that was the topic of our November Guidance. Our lessons focused on topics like the importance of supporting others, including classmates, and never missing opportunities to show kindness to others. As part of our lessons, we used the following books found in our school library to help illustrate the topics covered in each grade.
The focus for our lessons in December was Coping Strategies. We took time to better understand what the term means, identify specific coping strategies, and to utilize those in situations where we may experience big emotions.
Stay tuned for a recap of our January Guidance, which focuses on the skill of self-control!
Additionally, I have had the ability to visit some of our classes individually to give supplemental Guidance Lessons. During those lessons we discussed the importance of respectful behavior, how to use I-messages to respectfully advocate for ourselves when someone is inconsiderate or unkind to us, and the negative impacts of spreading rumors and gossip. I have really enjoyed spending additional time to suppport our teachers' individual class needs, and I look forward to continuing to do so in the months ahead!
