CSD Weekly Update
CELEBRATING CENTENNIAL
Centennial School District is proud to recognize and celebrate our Outstanding Employees — individuals whose dedication, professionalism, and passion positively impact our schools, students, and community every day.
These team members represent the very best of CSD, consistently going above and beyond to support a thriving, inclusive, and inspiring educational environment. Whether in the classroom, behind the scenes, or on the front lines of student support, each honoree has demonstrated exceptional service and unwavering commitment.
Please join us in congratulating this year’s Outstanding Employees. We thank them for their hard work and the meaningful difference they make in the lives of those around them!
Congratulations to William Tennent's Anne Pallozzi!
On May 21, the Greater BucksMont Chamber of Commerce hosted its Annual Scholarship Luncheon, which included students from William Tennent High School, Archbishop Wood, and Middle Bucks Institute of Technology as its scholarship recipients. The event also had a very special keynote speaker, Dr. Bedden of Centennial School District!
The luncheon highlighted these amazing students who have gone above and beyond throughout their high school careers, leaving behind a long list of achievements. Anne Pallozzi, from William Tennent High School, was one of the highlighted students, and we could not be more proud to celebrate her!
Thank you to the Greater BucksMont Chamber of Commerce for their dedicated support to our students and the community, and thank you for helping us celebrate the achievements of one of our students!

ACADEMICS
Congratulations Are in Order!
Congratulations to McDonald Elementary, Davis Elementary & Log College Middle Schools for earning their Tier 2 Badges for Multi-tiered Systems of Support (MTSS). This has been a year-long process as the building teams work to continue to refine and improve their systems for supporting our students! The other schools will be determined within the week.
WISE (Women in Science and Engineering) Club
William Tennent's WISE (Women in Science and Engineering) Club brought their STEM enthusiasm to little learners during their recent Building Young Scientists outreach event. Held before school at Willow Dale and Davis Elementary, our high school mentors led second and third graders through hands-on STEM fun—from crafting binary code bracelets to coding circuits that lit up real bulbs. The event was a great opportunity for younger students to explore STEM in a fun, hands-on way—and for WISE members to inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers.
Davis Safety Recognition and Assembly
Davis recognized and celebrated their 5th grade safeties moving on to middle school and the rising 4th grade safeties who are stepping into this important leadership role in the school. Under the leadership of Mr. Mahony, Davis safeties support the school and their peers in many ways each day. Thank you to Mr. Burns for taking part in the ceremony and to all our 4th and 5th graders for their service to their school!
Davis Run, Read, Rock Program Success!
Under the leadership of club sponsor Jackie Garcia, the Davis Run, Read, Rock students and families collected over 80 canned goods for our Centennial School District's Food Pantry! Davis students learned many great life lessons and grew intellectually and physically through the program. Way to go!
Monster Project Brings Readers Together
On Monday, May 19, Klinger Middle School's 8th-grade students visited with first-graders from Davis Elementary to join together for a creative and heart-warming project. First graders in Mrs. Felmey's class read the book, I Need My Monster by Amanda Noll, and then designed their own monsters, which they illustrated into characters in their own class's published hardback book.
The first graders worked through the writing process, and each wrote their own page for the book that went along with their monster illustration. The first-grade monster designs were then shared with Mrs. Wert's Family and Consumer Sciences classes, and 24 students applied for the positions to bring the monsters to life by sewing them into colorful dolls.
This engaging project was made possible through a grant from the Centennial Education Foundation. Each first grader received a copy of the book I Need My Monster, the opportunity to purchase a published class book, and the amazing monster dolls to take home. 8th graders received lots of thank you's and gratitude from the children!!
Willow Dale's Great Read Out Adventure!
Our school-wide Read Out was a wonderful celebration of books, sunshine, and community! Every student received a brand new book to keep, thanks to funds raised through our Scholastic Book Fair. Thank you for your support! Classes brought their towels and headed outside to enjoy independent reading time together under the sun. To top it off, students cooled down with popsicles as they relaxed with their stories. It was a joyful day that reminded us all of the magic of reading!
ATHLETICS
William Tennent Athletes Shine at District One AAA Track & Field Championships
Our student-athletes delivered standout performances at the PIAA District One AAA Track & Field Championships held May 16–17 at Coatesville High School.
The boys 4x800-meter relay team—Chase Rosenfeld, Richard Belt, Andrew Pratt, and Zackary Clementson—ran a season-best time of 7:54, dominating their heat and securing a coveted spot at the New Balance Nationals on June 19-22, 2025 at Franklin Field in Philadelphia. Their strong teamwork and determination were on full display as they surged ahead of the competition. Rosenfeld and Belt also competed in the individual 800m dash nearly qualifying for the State Championships!
Special congratulations to Travis Donovan, who competed in the 100-meter dash, setting new school records throughout the season and continuing to raise the bar. Also making waves was Joey Hebling, who showcased his athleticism and dedication qualifying for the District Championships in the long jump.
New Boys Head Coach Matt Langford is incredibly proud of the 6 individuals who represented WT with class. We all celebrate these athletes for their dedication, sportsmanship, and elite-level achievements in track and field.

The District no longer is posting eFlyers to any social media outlets or the District cable channel. You may refer to Policy 913 for additional information.
