What is your role at Kings Road School?
I am a Third Grade teacher at KRS.
What are your qualifications to serve in your role?
I have been teaching 3rd Grade in Madison for 11 years. I grew up in Madison, and went through the school district myself, so it is extra special to be teaching in town! I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Scranton.
What do you like about Kings Road School?
My favorite part about KRS is the wonderful community of students and parents. With that, the staff is SO FUN! I love that we create an exciting environment for students to learn through staff videos, assemblies and events!
What is your favorite book?
My favorite book is Because Of Winn-Dixie by Kate DiCamillo. When I was in 3rd Grade, I remember my teacher reading it to me. It is such a special gift to pass this onto my students!
What do you like to do when you are not at Kings Road School?
When I am not working at KRS, I love to go on walks with my husband and bake new treats! In the summer we love to go down the shore!

Snacks At School - News from Nurse Moran
Snack period is every day in all Kindergarten through Grade 5 classrooms. Please ensure your child brings a healthy, nutritious snack each day for school. Candy of any type is not permitted. Also, as a reminder, all KRS classrooms are Peanut and Nut Free. It is important to check the ingredients label of your child's snack and ensure that no snack with peanuts and/or tree nuts are brought in to be consumed in the classroom. Thanks for your cooperation in keeping our students healthy and happy!

Elementary Curriculum Corner
This week our elementary team kicked off Read Across America Month! We celebrated our love for reading with a visit from author Ross Burach and our door decorating contest! Our students excitedly planned their door themes, crafted, and talked about a love of reading all week long! Tremendous gratitude to Mrs. Calafati, Mrs. Lobrace, Mrs. Magnani, Mrs. Mahon, Mr. Paradisio, Mrs. Sims, Mrs. Viola, the MEF and the CAS, KRS, and TJS Ptos for their support in bringing this fun week together!
