Kudos to our Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble members for their outstanding performances at the AISD Pre-UIL Band Festival. The bands earned Excellent and Superior ratings from the judges and received some great feedback.

PTA RALLY DAY FEBRUARY 27, 2023 9:30am - 3pm

PTA Rally Day is an event where PTA parents, students, and teachers from all over Texas come together to rally support for public education. Some of Texas PTA’s priorities this year are:

- Public school funding
- Opposing vouchers
- Teacher & staff shortages and retention
- Student mental health

In an effort to have a large voice this year for our district, Austin High has been coordinating with the ACPTA to gather resources. We would love to have as much support as possible from the vertical team!

AHS is hosting a Zoom meeting on Tuesday, February 21 to share information about potential legislative action this session and to talk about details for the PTA Rally Day on Feb 27. They invite everyone to share this information with your schools and to join in.
