June 2026
Message from Mrs. Antoniello
June is here, and we are wrapping up another wonderful school year filled with learning, growth, and memorable experiences! One of the highlights of this month was our annual Field Day. Despite the hot temperatures, students had an incredible time participating in the many exciting activities and games throughout the day. A special thank you goes to Mr. Fisco and Mr. LaFerlita for organizing such a fun-filled and successful event. Their hard work and enthusiasm helped create a day our students will not forget. We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to our parent volunteers. Your support and assistance made it possible for us to provide a full day of Field Day fun for all of our students.
We are also so proud of our talented student musicians who performed in our recent strings concert. The concert was truly amazing, and our students showcased their hard work, dedication, and musical growth beautifully. Thank you to our music teachers for guiding and inspiring our young performers, and thank you to our families for supporting the arts in our school community. It was a wonderful evening celebrating the incredible talents of our students.
As we begin to look ahead to summer, please be sure to see the link for our Summer Activities Presentation. This presentation includes information about summer reading and math practice opportunities for students. It is so important for students to continue practicing their skills over the summer months so they are prepared and confident when they return in the fall. Report Cards will be available on June 18. As a reminder, please print out your child's report cards in June if you need it for sports, as there is a period of time that Genesis is not available over the summer.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support throughout the school year, and we wish all of our families a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable summer!

WTPS Appoints Dr. David Bleakley as New Superintendent of Schools
As you are aware, Dr. Handerhan announced back in the fall that she will be retiring at the end of this school year. Since then, the Wall Township Board of Education has been actively engaged in the search for a new Superintendent of Schools. At last night’s Board of Education Meeting, the Board of Education appointed Dr. David Bleakley as the next WTPS Superintendent of Schools, effective July 1, 2026. Dr. Bleakley brings with him over 20 years of educational experience, and the Board of Education is thrilled to welcome him to the District.
