Rhoads Elementary Junior High Prep
for Parents/Guardians of Current 5th Graders - January 2026
Dear Parents/Guardians,
It’s almost time to begin making important decisions about 6th grade courses. We have created one central link where all junior high information will be posted, including flyers, important dates, and specific updates as they become available. This link will automatically “refresh” whenever new information is added, so please save it in a special place and check it regularly.
If you have any questions about the course selection process, please contact counselors at SholaLadejobiGriffin@katyisd.org or MirnaAMercado@katyisd.org
We are excited to support our current 5th graders as they prepare for their transition to junior high and begin making important decisions about their 6th grade courses.

The recording of the 2026 -2027 Course Planning Parent Webinars are now available for you to watch at home.
These webinars provides an overview of the course selection process that will take place in Spring 2025, and how to access SchooLinks, step by step.
As a parent, how do I login to Schoolinks?
Parents need to log into my Katy cloud using their HAC (Home Access Center) login credentials. You will then be able to find the SchooLinks tile in the cloud. Do not go to the SchooLinks website directly.
- For help with logging into MyKaty Cloud please visit the Family Technology Resources webpage here: /Page/7645.
