Highlights from the 3rd 9 Weeks
The Great Kindness Challenge
In January our Bears participated in The Great Kindness Challenge by spreading kindness around BBE and our greater community! Homeroom classes surprised other classes with treats, notes, and encouraging words throughout the week. Many students completed their random acts of kindness checklist at school and others participated with the at home list as well.
Guidance Lessons
Mrs. Wimberly visited every homeroom class to facilitate Goal-Directed Behavior guidance lessons. Our 2nd-4th grade Bears were challenged to SAVE FRED! Students worked collaboratively with their group to reach their goal. They were reminded that success is not only acheived when a goal is acheived but also along the journey to get there. All students persevered through the challenges and took steps towards the final goal.
Star Students Honored
Kingwood High School Cheerleaders lead our 3rd quarter STAR Student celebration. We were able to honor over 60 students from Kindergarten to 5th grade who displayed exceptional Goal-Directed Behaviors during the 3rd nine weeks. Congratulations to all the honorees!
