High School Happenings
Methacton High School News
May 14, 2026
From Dr. Euker's Desk
As we begin to wind down another school year, I want to take a moment to thank you for the partnership, encouragement, and support you provide your children each and every day.
The high school years are filled with growth that often happens quietly through challenges faced, friendships formed, lessons learned, disappointments overcome, and moments of confidence gained.
Behind every student is a family cheering them on, helping them navigate busy schedules, celebrating successes, and offering support during difficult days. We see that, and we are grateful for it. I hope you take time to recognize just how much your child has grown both academically and personally. Teenagers may not always say it out loud, but your presence, patience, and steady encouragement matter.
Thank you for trusting us with your children. It is a privilege to walk alongside them during these important years.

NORTH MONTCO STUDENTS:
Power School Excused Absence Required
This form pertains to NMTCC session 1 (AM tech) and session 2 (PM tech juniors) students for school attendance on May 21, 2026. On this date, Methacton High School is in session, while NMTCC Seniors will have their end-of-year celebration and award ceremony. Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors will not have North Montco classes on this day. This process will enable parents or guardians to excuse their child from Methacton High School during those periods when they would normally be at NMTCC for technical school classes.
Students who do not receive this parental permission will attend Methacton study hall for the periods they would otherwise be in attendance at NMTCC. No email or telephone permissions will be accepted.
Final Exam Survival Kit
The Class of 2028 is sponsoring a Final Exam Fundraiser
. There are two possible ways to support our class.
We are selling "Final Exam Survival Kits" for high school students. Parents can purchase goodie bags that contain snacks, encouraging words, and study tips from MHS teachers for $10 per student. They will be delivered to students before the start of exams.
Or parents can choose to sponsor a teacher's classes for finals for $10 per teacher. Teachers will give each student a treat and an encouraging note before their final exam.
