We still have some spots open at Burning Man. We'll be using
Slack this year to coordinate and organize all of our activities for Burning Man! If you're not on Slack, you'll be receiving an invite shortly. Please ask any questions you have about camp, or build / strike / bikes, etc in the relevant Slack channel so that others can find the answer without having to bug Darrell or any of the other leaders with redundant questions!
The one big question is about Tickets. While camp does have a few extra tickets, we don't have nearly enough tickets for all the people who want to come. We expect to be releasing tickets in late June to key personnel. We are counting on fellow campmates to help find tickets for our campers, if you hear of an extra ticket, please claim it and find a camper who needs it, or let Darrell know. Please assume that if you don't find a ticket, you may not be able to come, and please know that the longer you can hold out waiting for a ticket, up until the event starts, the more likely you'll be able to get a ticket. That means if you're dedicated to coming, you should plan on traveling to Reno and perhaps even planning an alternate vacation in the Sierra / Nevada / Lake Tahoe area if for some weird reason a ticket doesn't become available. I have to believe some alternate Burning Man gathering may emerge this year near Reno with all of the people who aren't able to get tickets. And, I'm feeling optimistic that we'll be able to get a lot of tickets for people through various unexpected sources. Details about BxB program for 2022 will be announced in June. Please think about what your decision deadline for having a ticket in hand is for go/no go to the burn, camp may open a field in the registration form for you to enter it so as tickets emerge we can know best how to allocate them.
